We provide businesses with the expertise, connections, and structured guidance they need to grow, operate efficiently, and navigate the Serbian and EU commercial landscape with confidence.
Where is Work Bridge based?

Who are Work Bridge's typical clients?

Our Services
What services does Work Bridge provide?
Work Bridge provides six core service areas: (1) Business Guidance & Advisory — ongoing strategic guidance for business development and improvement; (2) Market Intelligence & Trends — periodic updates on policies, market practices, and commercial opportunities; (3) Growth Strategy & Optimisation — advisory support for growth, expansion, and efficiency; (4) Strategic Recommendations — expert recommendations on operational, commercial, and market matters; (5) Employer–Agency Bridge — our signature service connecting employers with vetted recruitment agencies; and (6) Communication & Reporting — structured, regular client communication through agreed channels.
Can I engage Work Bridge for just one service, or do I need a package?
You can absolutely engage Work Bridge for a single service — for example, just the employer–agency bridge service or a one-off strategic review. Many clients begin with one service and expand the engagement as the relationship develops. We are flexible and tailor our engagement model to your actual needs, not a rigid package structure.
Do you offer ongoing retainer arrangements?
Yes. For services such as Business Guidance, Market Intelligence, and Communication & Reporting, we typically work on an ongoing retainer basis — providing consistent, regular support over an agreed engagement period. This retainer model ensures continuity, deeper understanding of your business, and greater value delivery over time. Project-based engagements are also available for defined scope work.
What industries do you specialise in?
Work Bridge has experience across a wide range of sectors active in Serbia and the EU, including manufacturing, logistics and supply chain, professional services, technology and IT, retail and FMCG, construction and real estate, hospitality, healthcare, and financial services. Our consultants bring sector-specific knowledge to every engagement and will confirm coverage at the outset of your consultation.

Employer–Agency Bridge
What exactly is the Employer–Agency Bridge service?
The Employer–Agency Bridge is Work Bridge's signature and most important service. It is designed to eliminate the friction, miscommunication, and risk that businesses frequently experience when trying to work with recruitment agencies in Serbia and across the EU. We vet and maintain a network of compliant, reliable recruitment agencies; we match employers to the agencies best suited to their needs; we facilitate structured introductions; we help establish clear SLAs and contractual frameworks; and we provide ongoing oversight of the partnership to ensure it remains productive. In short — we make employer–agency relationships work.
How does Work Bridge ensure that agencies are trustworthy and compliant?
Every agency in our network undergoes a thorough vetting process before we recommend them to any client. This includes verification of legal registration and business status in Serbia or the relevant EU jurisdiction, review of compliance with Serbian labour law and EU labour directives, reference checks with previous employer clients, assessment of operational capability and sector expertise, and an ongoing compliance monitoring process to ensure standards are maintained. We remove agencies from our network if concerns arise at any stage.
How long does the employer–agency matching process typically take?
For most clients, we are able to present a shortlist of vetted, suitable agency partners within one to two weeks of onboarding. The full process — from initial assessment through to a structured introduction and the establishment of a working agreement — typically takes between two and four weeks, depending on the complexity of the requirement and the specific sectors involved. This is significantly faster than unassisted agency sourcing, which typically takes several months.
What if the agency relationship doesn't work out after introduction?
Work Bridge's involvement does not end at the introduction stage. We provide ongoing oversight of all employer–agency partnerships we facilitate. If an issue arises — whether a performance problem, a communication breakdown, or a compliance concern — we step in proactively to mediate and resolve it. If a partnership genuinely cannot be salvaged, we support the transition to a replacement agency from our network at no additional charge.

Process & Engagement
How does a new engagement with Work Bridge begin?
Every engagement begins with a complimentary initial consultation — either via video call, phone, or in person in Serbia. During this session, we take time to understand your business, your current challenges, your goals, and the specific services that could add the most value for you. Following this, we propose a tailored engagement structure including scope, timeline, deliverables, communication framework, and commercial terms. We begin work only once both parties are fully aligned on the engagement terms.
How often will I hear from my Work Bridge consultant?
This depends entirely on the engagement type and your preferences — and is agreed at the start of the engagement in your Communication & Reporting Plan. For ongoing retainer engagements, most clients receive a minimum of monthly written reports plus fortnightly or monthly check-in calls or meetings. For time-sensitive matters, your consultant is accessible between scheduled touchpoints via email and phone. We believe in proactive communication and will never wait for a scheduled meeting to share important information.
Can Work Bridge provide services in the Serbian language?
Yes. Work Bridge operates in both Serbian and English, and we can accommodate other EU languages where required. For clients who prefer to communicate in Serbian throughout the engagement, we are fully equipped to do so. This is one of the important advantages of our local presence in Serbia — we genuinely understand the local business culture, language, and commercial environment, not just the regulatory framework.
Do I need to travel to Serbia to work with Work Bridge?
No. The majority of our client engagements are conducted remotely — via video meetings, email, and digital document sharing — and this works very effectively. Where appropriate and mutually convenient, we also offer in-person meetings in Serbia. For clients based outside Serbia who are entering the Serbian market, our remote model makes the onboarding process entirely straightforward.

Serbia & the EU Market
Why is Serbia a good location for business consultancy?
Serbia is one of the most dynamic business environments in South-East Europe. As an EU candidate country with strong economic growth, a skilled and cost-competitive workforce, improving infrastructure, and an increasingly favourable business regulatory environment, Serbia offers compelling opportunities for both local businesses and international investors. Work Bridge is uniquely positioned to help businesses capitalise on these opportunities with expert local knowledge and EU market connectivity.
How does Serbia's EU candidate status affect business operations?
Serbia's status as an EU candidate country means that its regulatory environment is progressively aligning with EU standards — which creates both opportunities and compliance obligations for businesses operating there. Work Bridge monitors these developments closely and advises clients on how to position their operations to benefit from ongoing harmonisation while avoiding the risks of non-compliance during the transition period.
Can Work Bridge help a foreign business enter the Serbian market?
Absolutely. We regularly support European and international businesses entering Serbia — providing market assessments, regulatory guidance, local partner identification, and operational setup advisory. We also help with the employer side of the equation: identifying and connecting you with the right local recruitment agencies to build your Serbian team effectively and in compliance with local labour law.
Does Work Bridge operate in other Balkan or EU countries?
Work Bridge's primary focus is Serbia and the EU markets. While our core operations and deepest expertise are in Serbia, we have network relationships and experience supporting businesses across the Western Balkans (including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and North Macedonia) and connections to broader EU markets. We will always be transparent about the scope of our expertise in any specific market and will recommend specialist partners where we are not the best fit.
💼
Pricing & Engagement Models
How does Work Bridge charge for its services?
Work Bridge uses a range of commercial models depending on the service and engagement type. Ongoing advisory and retainer services — such as Business Guidance, Market Intelligence, and Communication & Reporting — are typically priced on a monthly retainer basis, agreed at the outset of the engagement. Project-based work — such as a specific strategic review or market entry assessment — is typically priced on a fixed-fee basis. The Employer–Agency Bridge service may involve a combination of a facilitation fee and ongoing management retainer. All fees are agreed transparently before work begins — there are no hidden charges.
Is there a minimum engagement period?
For ongoing retainer services, we typically recommend a minimum three-month initial engagement to allow sufficient time to develop an understanding of your business and deliver measurable value. Many clients continue their engagements for twelve months or longer. For project-based work, the engagement period is defined by the project scope and timeline. We do not lock clients into long-term contracts without the ability to exit — we earn continued engagement through the quality of our work.
Do you offer a free initial consultation?
Yes. All prospective clients are offered a complimentary initial consultation — typically 45 to 60 minutes — to discuss your business needs and explore how Work Bridge can add value. There is no obligation following this session. We believe strongly that the right fit between client and consultancy is more important than any individual sale, and the initial consultation is our opportunity to establish whether we are the right partner for you.
Can fees be structured in Serbian dinars (RSD) or only euros?
Work Bridge is able to accommodate fee arrangements in both Serbian dinars (RSD) and euros (EUR), depending on client preference and the nature of the engagement. For clients based in Serbia, RSD invoicing is available. For international clients, EUR invoicing is standard. We are also able to accommodate other EU currency preferences where required. All fee arrangements are agreed in writing before the engagement commences.
